My counselling experience
I started counselling more than 25 years ago as a volunteer for an alcohol project in London. I qualified with a Diploma in Counselling in 1996 from the University of the West of England and I am now a Senior Accredited Counsellor with BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy).
For a number of years I developed my counselling practice while still working full time for advice and homelessness charities. I have many years experience of working as a counsellor in Occupational Health. I also have more than 4 years experience of working in Sexual Assault Referral Centre . I also work for a couple of Employee Assistance Programmes
I became a Counselling Supervisor in 2005 following my supervision training at Bristol University and offer supervision to counsellors both in private practice and in agencies
I am fully trained and accredited EMDR practitioner
